Couples tying the knot at Atlantis, The Palm, can choose from seven venues. The opulent Atlantis Ballroom or Asateer marquee on the beach each cater for 2,500 guests for a cocktail event, or up to 1,500 seated. Dolphin Bay’s gardens and beach offer an outdoors setting, with the added attraction of a dolphin conservation centre – for weddings with a difference.

Smaller venues are the elegant Silk and Spice Ballroom seating up to 250, and the Palm Grove which is suitable for up to 100 guests.

Thrill-seekers might prefer Barracudas as a Dubai wedding venue. Situated in Aquaventure, the resort’s water-themed amusement park that includes underwater slides through shark-infested waters, Barracudas accommodates parties of up to 150 guests. The Lost Chambers, a maze of underground tunnels in the Ambassador Lagoon, is a truly unique place to get married – if you’re prepared to share your big day with the 65,000 marine creatures that live in the lagoon.
