A royal favourite, Quaglino’s in St. James’s, London
If a royal-wedding-themed street party just isn’t your thing, how’s about this for a decadent W-day way to celebrate? Chic London restaurant Quaglino’s – a former dining hotspot of the Queen – is hosting a vintage-inspired black-tie gala dinner on the evening of 29 April to celebrate the royal nuptials.
Feast on a delicious three-course menu of their house favourite wedding recipes, including a fillet of halibut, linguine, champagne and caviar veloute inspired by their 1998 Valentine’s Menu, or the 1950 Celebration Menu inspired by Le Parfait Au Liqueur, all while listening to a live swing band. And how much will this stately night of fine dining fun cost, you might ask? Well, a mere £60 per head, with £10 donated from each ticket to Kate and Wills’ Charitable Gift Fund – Quaglino’s little gift to the happy couple.
So while Prince William and Kate Middleton are enjoying a fine-food feast at the palace, you could be sitting down to an equally blowout banquet as well!
Quaglino’s, 16 Bury Street, St. James’s, London, SW1Y 6AJ. Availability is limited and so please call Georgie on 020 7484 2002 to reserve your table. View their Royal Gala Dinner Menu and Royal Gala Dinner Wine List
