Luxury for a lot less is up for grabs this summer at a five star hotel in the south of France. To mark the opening of its six brand new suites in July, Le Mas Candille is launching the Suite Dreams reverse auction*, offering people the chance to win a night in the hotel’s finest accommodation for as little as one euro.
From midday on Monday 1 June 2009, couples are invited to bid a price they are willing to pay in order to stay overnight in one of the hotel’s new and exclusive suites. When the auction closes at midnight (UK time) on Friday 1 July 2009, the lowest unique bidder will win an overnight stay in a suite for the exact price they suggest – be it €1, €10 or €100.
Normally costing from €750 (£680)** per night and each accessed by its own private staircase, the six suites will offer visitors stylish accommodation and home from home comforts.
The lucky winner can look forward to lounging around in the suite’s large living area with its inviting Pierre Frey sofas, and then relaxing in the spacious bedroom featuring a king size bed, flat screen TV and iPod integrated reader. Each suite also features a walk-in dressing room, two bathrooms and terrace.
Perched on terraced slopes in the hills above Cannes in the medieval village of Mougins, Le Mas Candille is surrounded by olive groves and boasts stunning views of the pre-alps and Grasse valley. During their stay, the winner will also have access to the hotel’s Michelin starred restaurant, two swimming pools, ‘hot tub Jacuzzis’, Shiseido spa and outdoor gym.
Bargain hunting bidders wishing to take part in the auction should name their price (in euros and cents) and send it to email@example.com along with a contact name, address and telephone number.
Le Mas Candille is situated just 20 minutes from Nice (private transfers and transport can be arranged on request).
