Our exclusive wedding event with Luella’s Boudoir

More than 300 people attended Cosmopolitan Bride's exclusive event and here's the success story...

Luella’s Boudoir – the catwalk

On Wednesday 21 April, we headed down to our exclusive event with Luella’s Boudoir at the stylish beautiful One Marylebone, London. Over 300 of our magazine readers and online users turned up to get expert advice from a range of wedding experts – from wedding make-up tips to gorgeous gown catwalks and the UK’s only bridal coach Michele Paradise giving the brides some great guidelines on being the most elegant bride.

Pampering treatments and expert advice

Fantastic pampering treatments were provided by Benefit Cosmetics and therapists from Sanctuary Spa, Covent Garden and gave the brides-to-be’s some top tips on how to look fab on their big day. Plus, Darren Fowler the team from Eclipso Salon gave a great insight into up-to-date bridal hair styles to wow your wedding guests.

A fantastic array of wedding dresses on the catwalk…

Y&YW’s Fashion Director Peta Hunt said, “There were fantastic choices of pretty and simple bridal dresses with flattering design details from Luella’s – perfect for accessorizing on your abroad or city wedding. And there were more fabulous collections from Lisa Redman (using used soft tulle with plenty of sparkle – girly with a modern twist), Katja Nuutinen (for curvy and glamorous girls), and Charlotte Casadejus.”

Gorgeous wedding accessories

“Then there were bridesmaid’s dresses by Buttonbelle and Luella’s, gorgeous wedding shoes by Emmy Shoes, fab hats and hair pieces from Jane Taylor and Claire Yarwood-White had all her latest wedding jewellery.”
