Former Made in Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh and her rapper beau, Stephen Manderson, AKA Professor Green tied the knot yesterday at idyllic celebrity haunt, Babington House. The unlikely couple who met after Professor Green spotted Mille on the pages of Nuts magazine and asked the team to introduce them, exchanged vows at an intimate ceremony surrounded by family and friends.
Mille looked nothing short of stunning as she walked down the aisle on the arm of proud father Nigel, wearing a vintage lace Temperley London gown and Christian Louboutin peep-toes. Carrying an elegant bouquet of white, pink and cream flowers, the bride wore her hair in a plaited updo while the bridesmaids donned blush pink Ghost dresses and had their hair styled into loose, tumbling waves.
Lily Allen, Miles Kane, Adulthood’s Adam Deacon and Millie’s best friend and Made In Chelsea co-star Rosie Fortescue were just a number of the famous faces on the guest list along with Caggie Dunlop who shunned tradition by wearing a white lace dress.
On Monday evening, Professor Green let his guard down on Twitter, ‘Thank you all for your kind wishes, as you may have read I’m marrying the love of my life tomorrow so I’m off for a little while, big love x’. Following the recent launch of his new East London nightclub that is said to capture ‘the attitude of the East End tattoo parlours’, the Read All About It hitmaker looked dapper on the big day in a dark blue suit with a pink rose buttonhole.
The couple appeared to be over the moon and couldn’t stop smiling throughout the entire day. Millie took to Instagram to share her joy with fans by posting a couple of romance-filled photographs accompanied by the simple caption ‘happy’.
