There was a lot of pressure on Olivia Palermo to look the part on her wedding day.
The New York socialite has become renowned for her enviable sartorial choices since she rose to fame with her reality television stint on The City.
And she certainly didn’t disappoint in the wardrobe department when it came to her big bridal moment.
The pretty brunette celebrated her nuptials with German model Johannes Huebl at the weekend. Sticking to her trendsetting ways, Olivia wore a cashmere sweater from her favourite designer Carolina Herrera, which she paired with some tailored shorts and a tulle skirt overlay.
Her traditional ‘something blue’ came in the form of some sapphire-hued Manolo Blahniks. Perfect.
Olivia wore her hair scraped back in a casual ponytail, with her make-up matching the natural boho theme of the day.
Commenting on her look, Olivia says: “I wanted the make-up to be light and fresh and more focused about the lashes while keeping the eyes clean. My hair was in an uncontrived ponytail, one of my favourite personal looks.”
Groom Johannes perfectly complemented his bride’s ensemble in a bespoke Marc Anthony Hamburg suit with a Marc Anthony Hamburg shirt and a navy tie.
The couple, who have been together for six and a half years, tied the knot among a bed of flowers and ivy in a quiet Bedford Park in New York.
Olivia says: “We really wanted to keep this beautiful day very private and special to us and enjoyed the whole day with our family and two friends.”
Congrats from all of us, guys!
