Exciting news for all you Twilight fans. We might not be able to bag you a vampire beau but we can help you steal Bella’s bridal style!
Top bridal brand Alfred Angelo have released an official replica of the gown Bella wore to marry Edward Cullen – and it’s available in bridal boutiques now.
The striking Edwardian-inspired dress has full length lace-trimmed sleeves and a dramatic cut-out illusion back with soft Chantilly-inspired lace appliqué. Fabric covered buttons run down the entire back length of the gown and onto the sweeping chapel length train.
And with a recommended retail price of £549, taking your cue from the cult vamp-brand has never been so easy or affordable.
“To work on a project with so much anticipation surrounding this bridal gown was very exciting, and filled with high energy,” said designer Michael Shettel. The design team at Alfred Angelo worked in closed quarters for the past several months to bring Bella’s style to brides worldwide in time for the film’s release. “All elements of the gown, even sketches, were heavily guarded for fear of any design leaks,” said Michael.
The original dress was created for the film by Carolina Herrera and will go on sale alongside Bella’s specially created crystal encrusted Manolo Blahnik heels as part of her 2012 bridal collection.
