Blackburn Bridal’s Claire Pettibone Designer Weekend, Blackheath

Claire Pettibone’s gorgeous vintage-style bridal deigns are world-renowned, so get ready for this exciting chance to view a huge range of wedding dresses from her latest collections. Blackburn Bridal boutique will be showcasing a number of gowns from both the 2015 Still Life collection and the Romantique range, of which all of the gowns come in under £2000. To be one of the first brides in the country to view the gowns, and to benefit from an exclusive 10% off any purchase made during the weekend, brides are encouraged to book an appointment early as spaces are expected to fill up quickly. British shoe designer Harriet Wilde is selling some of her beautiful bridal footwear at a discount. Known for luxurious lace and satin designs, they come in a range of heights, so fear not if you’re not one for skyscraper-sized heels. Shoes are available from as little as £20 in all sizes, and they’ll be a selection of handbags and other accessories on offer, too.

The Cake & Bake Show, London

Calling all Great British Bake Off fans. For the first time, London’s The Cake & Bake Show will play host to all four GBBO champions from past series, so if you’re planning on baking for your own wedding, here’s your chance to pick up some tips. Other star bakers at the show include Eric Lanlard, Paul A Young, Rosemary Shrager, Simon Rimmer and the Fabulous Baker Brothers.
