This Computer Engineer Went Viral After Enlisting Her Guy Pals as Bro-Maids

This bride-to-be didn’t have a close group of girlfriends but that didn’t stop her having a totally awesome bridal party – full of her closest guy friends.

Rebeca Sinohara is a 24-year-old bride from Itajuba, Brazil who works in computer engineering. Her wedding prep pictures went viral after she shared them on Facebook with the caption: “When the bride doesn’t have any girlfriends, it’s time to call her bros. This is what happens to a girl in computer engineering.”

Rebeca told Buzzfeed that she felt sad when she looked at photos online of other women getting ready with their female friends on their wedding day. The engineering student went on to explain: “In my engineering classroom there were 56 guys and only four girls so it was not like I had a lot of choice.

“Of course I have girlfriends from childhood and high school but we are not as close as before and there are some girls that I lived with in shared housing during university, but none of them I became BFFs with.”

Luckily for Rebeca when she explained how she was feeling to her guy mates, they were more than up for being bro-maids. “They are really great friends,” she revealed, “and I had no doubt that they would do this for me.”
