You’d think the biggest wedding outfit decision would be the dress. But we speak to a lot of brides-to-be, and they tell us that actually, it’s finding the perfect pair of shoes that gives them a headache. After all, not only do you want shoes that look good, you also need to feel good – it’s not fun hobbling round the dance floor with feet that feel like they’re on actual fire. What’s more, they have to work with your dress (or trousers, or jumpsuit), in terms of style as well as not catching on the material.
Of course, you need to work out whether you’re going for heels – and if so, which height? We don’t recommend going higher than you’re used to, so you can still feel like you on your wedding day.
High street shoe hero Dune is here to make the decision a little bit easier with The Wedding Collection. It comprises of 20 pairs in luxurious ivory satin, along with matching clutch bags and accessories. From mules to open-toe sandals, there’s a shoe to suit every style. The details are bewitchingly pretty, including hand-applied seed pearls and sparkling jewel trims. And each design includes a latex and memory foam lining, to provide extra on-the-day comfort.
