New York Bridal Fashion Week 2017: Our Pick of the Best Wedding Dresses

We round up our favourite wedding dresses shown at New York Bridal Fashion Week

New York Bridal Fashion Week is one date we always have circled in red on our calendar – we look forward to it each season, and love seeing all the latest and greatest dresses take to the catwalk.

The gowns showcased pave the way for the top trends that you’ll see in bridal boutiques for the coming season and act as amazing inspiration for brides-to-be.

Check out our favourite dresses so far this season and see if any of them tickle your fancy.

Reem Acra

Reem Acra held their show at Tiffany & Co’s Fifth Avenue Flagship store – can you imagine a more glam location?!

The collection was inspired by Breakfast at Tiffany’s, with gowns draped in pearl embellishment.

We love the peplum skirt thanks to the super slim and flattering silhouette it creates.

David’s Bridal

David’s Bridal opted for a modern traditional aesthetic, with long lace sleeves, a’la Kate Middleton, and intricate embellishment detailing.

Both of the wedding dresses have hints of something blue beneath, ticking that wedding tradition off your list.

Sachin and Babi

Sachin and Babi’s lace fluted gown has an off-the-shoulder neckline and long sleeves for a modern, yet timeless wedding day look.

Pair with statement earrings for extra added interest.

Kelly Faetanini

Kelly Faetanini proves that wedding dresses don’t have to white, with this black and white ostrich feather number – perfect for the bride who wants to make the ultimate statement.

We predict feathers will be a big trend at weddings over the next few months – watch this space!

The tiers of romantic lace on this Marchesa gown make it a real show-stopper, while the black choker adds a modern twist.
